Wakeup
[Concept]
The design is inspired by the myth of Sisyphus pushing the stone up the mountain. It is a posture of repetition within absurdity and persistence within futility—a state of existence that, in Camus’s view, we must imagine as happy: profound, stubborn, and unyielding. Contemporary young people are deeply immersed in the fatigue and emptiness of “lying flat” culture, much like those cast onto a mountain of reality, where values fade, ideals collapse, and meaning continuously slips away. Yet it is precisely within this unplaceable absurdity that the power of resistance and awakening is truly activated.
Through symbolic language and graphic design, this moment of awakening is crystallized into a visual metaphor: the stone is both a burden and the world; the slope is both resistance and direction; the act of pushing the stone is both predicament and the answer to awakening.
“What matters is not to die reconciled, but to die in defiance. … For he knows that in the daily consciousness of his struggle, he demonstrates the only truth that is his: rebellion. This is the essential consequence.” — Albert Camus
[Client Partner]
