Mechanical Interstellar Alliance

[Concept]

Mechanical Interstellar Alliance is an art exhibition themed around space travel. For Guangzhou Design Week, we developed a complete and unified visual communication system for the exhibition. Centered on the concept of “Star Alliance,” the design translates celestial bodies, orbital paths, signals, and systems of connection into a graphic language with a distinct mechanical sensibility. In this way, different exhibition sections appear as if they exist within the same interstellar network, linked by continuously transmitted energy and information.

Visually, we drew inspiration from navigation systems, flight trajectories, and cosmic structures found in space travel. Points, lines, and modular graphic elements are treated as “interstellar nodes,” forming an ever-expanding visual universe through ordered connections and extensions. This system not only reinforces the exhibition’s science-fiction narrative, but also ensures that all graphic materials—from the key visual to wayfinding and extended applications—are seamlessly connected, as if visitors are moving through a single spacecraft traveling across time and space.

Ultimately, the visual identity of Mechanical Interstellar Alliance is more than a surface-level exhibition design. It becomes a metaphor for the future, exploration, and connection: as humanity continues to venture into the unknown universe, art, technology, and imagination exert mutual gravitational pull—like stars—forming an interstellar network that bridges reality and the future.

机械星联是一个以太空旅行为核心母题的艺术展览，我们在广州设计周为其构建了完整而统一的视觉传播形象。设计以“星联”为概念原点，将星体、轨道、信号与连接关系转译为具有机械质感的视觉图案系统，使不同展览单元仿佛处于同一星际网络之中，被持续传输的能量与信息所串联。

在视觉语言上，我们借鉴了星际旅行中的导航系统、航道坐标与宇宙结构，将点、线、模块化图形视作“星际节点”，通过有序的连接与延展，构建出一个不断生长的视觉宇宙。这一系统不仅强化了展览主题的科幻叙事，也让所有平面传播物料——从主视觉到导视、物料延展——形成高度一致的整体感，仿佛观众正在穿行于同一艘跨越时空的星际航行器中。

最终，“机械星联”的视觉形象不只是一次展览的外在包装，而是一种关于未来、探索与连接的隐喻表达：在人类不断迈向未知宇宙的过程中，艺术、科技与想象力正如星辰般相互引力，构成一张跨越现实与未来的星际联结网络。
